First Lady Marty Kemp Participates in USDOT's "100 Pledges in 100 Days"

Atlanta, GA - Yesterday First Lady Marty Kemp traveled to Washington, D.C. to deliver remarks and participate in a panel during the the U.S. Department of Transportation's (USDOT) 100 Pledges in 100 Days, a human trafficking awareness event.

"I am incredibly honored to share what we've been doing in Georgia on the national stage," said First Lady Marty Kemp. "These conversations are critical to the anti-trafficking movement. With the Trump administration and USDOT's strong commitment, we will continue empowering leaders and the general public to recognize and report suspicious activity."

"Marty continues to back her words with action, and I am proud to see her taking this fight to the next level," said Governor Brian P. Kemp. "She recognizes that transportation leaders play a critical role in dismantling this illegal enterprise, and we are proud to fight alongside them."

Governor Brian P. Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp also signed onto the USDOT's Transportation Leaders Against Human Trafficking (TLAHT) pledge. This pledge displays their ongoing commitment to employee education, raising public awareness, and measuring the collective impact of anti-human trafficking efforts in our state and nation.
